LANDSCAPING MARKETING IN EL PASO: WHAT THE SEARCH DATA SAYS

Landscaping marketing in El Paso card listing: Mar 2026: about 1,900/mo; Dec 2025: about 720/mo; Avg click: $3.23; Be ready before March

In short: Landscaping demand in El Paso peaks in early spring. Google’s El Paso data shows searches at about 1,900 in March 2026 and about 720 in December 2025. Clicks are cheap compared to other trades, so the companies that win spring are the ones with their Google profile, photos, pages, and follow-up ready before March hits.

A lot of landscaping owners in El Paso get most of their work from word of mouth and yard signs. That’s great until the referrals slow down, or you buy another truck and need to keep a second crew busy.

That’s when marketing matters. And the search data tells you exactly when to push.

What El Paso searches for landscaping

We pulled Google’s search data for El Paso in October 2026. Google rolls close searches like “landscaping el paso” and “landscapers el paso” into one number, so read these as one group.

Month Landscaping searches in El Paso
October 2025 about 1,600
December 2025 about 720
January 2026 about 1,000
March 2026 about 1,900
April 2026 about 1,600
May to July 2026 about 1,300 a month
September 2026 about 880

So March is the big month, and fall has a second bump. December is the low point.

The smaller services follow the same pattern. “Lawn care el paso” averaged about 170 a month, with about 260 in March 2026 and only about 50 in January. “Tree trimming el paso” also averaged about 170, with about 260 in February and March 2026 and about 90 in December 2025.

And Google’s average cost for a landscaping click in El Paso was $3.23. That’s low. Compare it to pest control or roofing, where the average was closer to $18 to $20 a click in the same pull.

What that means for your budget

Cheap clicks don’t mean free money. At $3 a click, it’s easy to buy a lot of traffic. If that traffic lands on a bad page or nobody calls it back, you just bought a lot of nothing.

Start before March. If your ads, pages, and Google profile aren’t ready until April, you missed the peak. Build in January and February, then turn the budget up as March starts.

Use fall too. October 2025 had about 1,600 searches. Fall cleanups, tree trimming, and planting for next year are all real work. Don’t shut down after August.

Separate maintenance from projects. A monthly maintenance customer pays you every month for years. A big hardscape job pays once, but it’s a big check. They need different ads, different pages, and different follow-up.

Your Google Business Profile does a lot of the work

When somebody searches for a landscaper in El Paso, the map with three businesses usually shows up first. For landscaping, photos sell the job more than anything you write.

  • Post before-and-after photos of real yards. Desert landscaping, rock work, irrigation, turf, whatever you actually do.
  • List every service you offer, so you show up for “tree trimming” and “irrigation repair,” not just “landscaping.” Here’s how to set up services and posts.
  • Set your service area to where your crews actually go. If you only work the Westside and Upper Valley, don’t pretend you cover Horizon City.
  • Ask for a review after every job, with a photo if they’ll add one. Here’s a simple way to ask.

For the whole checklist, read how to rank higher on Google Maps.

Google Ads catch people searching right now. Give each service its own ad group and page: maintenance, tree trimming, irrigation, rock and desert landscaping, design projects. Our Google Ads agency page shows how.

Facebook ads are great for landscaping because the work is visual. A before-and-after video of a real El Paso yard stops the scroll. Use it to sell maintenance plans and spring projects to homeowners in the neighborhoods you already work. Here’s how we run Facebook ads.

Local Services Ads charge per lead instead of per click. Google offers them for a lot of home service categories. Check whether yours is available in El Paso, and if it is, test it next to regular Google Ads. More on our Local Services Ads page.

Pages and follow-up

If someone clicks an ad for tree trimming, the page should be about tree trimming. Real photos, a phone number they can tap, and a short form: name, phone, zip code, what they need. Our web design page shows what we build.

Then call them back fast. Homeowners collecting landscaping quotes often reach out to more than one company. The one who calls back first has the edge for the walk-through. Read why response time matters so much.

And after the job, keep in touch. A spring customer is your easiest fall customer.

Why we think we’re the best marketing agency in El Paso for landscapers

I’ll be honest. We haven’t published a landscaping case study yet. Here’s what we’ve done for other service businesses so you can see how we work.

The Pipe Whisperers, a plumbing company, went from about $60,000 a year to about $250,000 over 24 months with Facebook ads aimed at the right homeowners, landing pages about one job, and text follow-up. Total Auto Repair went from about $20,000 a month to about $100,000 over 18 months. Their numbers, not a promise of yours, but it’s the same system we’d build for a landscaping company.

We also start with who’s looking instead of with the ad. Our tool, Snitch, looks at recent search activity to help find people in your area already looking for the services you offer. That beats throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing what sticks.

And we put something on the line. We find the people already looking for what you sell. That’s Demand Flow. Then you pick how you pay. The $100K Guarantee: $100,000 in new revenue in 90 days, or you don’t pay us. Or Pay Per Appointment: $250 for every appointment we put on your calendar.

That’s why we say we’re the best marketing agency in El Paso for a landscaping company that wants booked jobs, not just likes on a pretty photo. Comparing agencies? Use the questions in our guide to picking the best marketing agency in El Paso.

Questions

When do people in El Paso search for landscapers the most?
Early spring. Google's El Paso data shows landscaping searches at about 1,900 in March 2026 and about 1,600 in April, down to about 720 in December 2025.
Are Google Ads expensive for landscaping in El Paso?
Not compared to most trades. Google's average for landscaping searches in El Paso was $3.23 a click in our October 2026 pull. Cheap clicks still waste money if the page and follow-up don't turn them into jobs.
Should a landscaping company focus on maintenance or big projects?
Both, but market them separately. Maintenance customers come back every month, so they're worth more over time. Big projects need their own ads and pages with before-and-after photos.
What's the best marketing agency in El Paso for landscapers?
We think it's Dead River Management, for a landscaping company that wants booked jobs it can count. We haven't published a landscaping case study yet, so ask us how we'd set yours up and judge us by our other trades.
