PEST CONTROL MARKETING IN EL PASO: WHAT THE SEARCH DATA SAYS

Pest control marketing in El Paso card listing: Dec 2025: about 480/mo; May to Jun 2026: 1,900/mo; Avg click: $19.71; Build in winter, win May

In short: Pest control demand in El Paso is seasonal and predictable. Google’s El Paso data shows searches climbing from about 480 a month in December 2025 to about 1,900 in May and June 2026. The companies that win summer get their Google profile, reviews, landing pages, and follow-up ready in winter, then put their ad money where the searches are.

Most pest control owners already know summer is busy. What they don’t always do is plan their marketing around it. They run the same ads at the same budget all year, then wonder why January felt like a waste and June felt like they couldn’t keep up.

Here’s what the numbers actually say, and what to do with them.

What El Paso searches for pest control

We pulled Google’s search data for El Paso in October 2026. Google rolls close searches like “pest control el paso” and “exterminator el paso” into the same number, so treat these as one group.

Month Pest control searches in El Paso
October 2025 about 1,300
December 2025 about 480
February 2026 about 590
April 2026 about 1,300
May and June 2026 about 1,900
August 2026 about 1,300
September 2026 about 880

That’s close to four times more searches at the peak than at the bottom. And Google’s average cost for those clicks was $19.71. That’s one of the more expensive clicks in local service work, so every wasted click hurts.

Termite searches are a lot smaller. “Termite control el paso” averaged about 20 a month, with a bump to about 90 in January 2026. Small, but those are usually bigger jobs, so they deserve their own ad group and their own page.

What that means for your budget

Spend where the searches are. If you split your Google Ads budget evenly across the year, you’re overpaying in winter for fewer people and underspending in summer when the phone should be ringing off the hook. Raise the budget in spring, ride it through summer, and pull back in late fall.

Don’t go dark in winter. Fewer people search, but they still search, and fewer of your competitors are bidding. Keep a smaller campaign running so you keep showing up and keep collecting reviews.

Use the slow months to get ready. December and January are when you build the stuff that pays off in May. That’s your Google profile, your pages, your follow-up, and your reviews.

Your Google Business Profile comes first

When somebody in El Paso searches for pest control, the map with three businesses usually shows up before the regular results. For a lot of pest control companies, that map brings in more calls than the website does.

To show up there:

  • Pick the right primary category, and add every pest you actually treat as a service. Our post on Google Business Profile categories walks through it.
  • Set your service area to where your trucks actually go. If you’re strong on the Westside and the Northeast, say so. Don’t spread yourself across the whole county if you can’t get there fast.
  • Post photos of real jobs and real trucks. Not stock photos of bugs.
  • Get a review after every job. Here’s a simple way to ask.

Also think about where your routes already are. A new customer two streets from one you already service is worth more than one across town, because the drive time is almost nothing. Market hardest in the zip codes where you already have trucks.

Google Ads catch people who are searching right now. Someone who just found scorpions in the bathroom isn’t scrolling Facebook. They’re searching. Give scorpions, roaches, rodents, and termites their own ad groups and their own pages. Our Google Ads page explains how we set that up.

Local Services Ads are the ads with Google’s verified badge at the very top. You pay per lead instead of per click. Google offers them for pest control in a lot of cities, so check that they’re available for you in El Paso. They’re worth testing, but run them next to regular Google Ads and compare which one books more jobs. More on our Local Services Ads page.

Facebook ads reach people before they have a problem. That’s where recurring service plans sell, quarterly treatments, spring prevention, that kind of thing. They work best when the ad shows a real local job and sends people to a short form. Our Facebook Ads page shows how we run them.

Pages and follow-up that turn clicks into jobs

Here’s where most of the money gets wasted. Somebody clicks a scorpion ad and lands on a home page with eight services and a slideshow.

Send them to a page about scorpions. Same headline as the ad, real photos, a phone number they can tap with their thumb, and a short form that goes to a person. Our web design page has examples.

Then call them back fast. Somebody with bugs in the kitchen calls the next company on the list if you don’t answer. Here’s why response time matters so much. We set up text and call follow-up so every lead gets a fast response, even when you’re under a house.

Why we think we’re the best marketing agency in El Paso for pest control

I’ll be straight with you. We haven’t published a pest control case study yet. So here’s what we’ve done in other home service trades, so you can see how we work.

The Pipe Whisperers, a plumbing company, went from about $60,000 a year to about $250,000 over 24 months. We ran Facebook ads to homeowners with older water heaters, built emergency landing pages, and set up text follow-up for after-hours calls. Gonzalez & Sons Roofing went from 2 roofs a month to 8 in 6 months. Those are their numbers, not a promise of yours, but the setup is the same one we’d build for a pest control company: ads aimed at the right people, pages about one job, and fast follow-up.

We also start with who’s looking instead of with the ad. Our tool, Snitch, looks at recent search activity to help find people in your market already looking for the services you offer, so your ads go to them instead of throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing what sticks.

And we put something on the line. We find the people already looking for what you sell. That’s Demand Flow. Then you pick how you pay. The $100K Guarantee: $100,000 in new revenue in 90 days, or you don’t pay us. Or Pay Per Appointment: $250 for every appointment we put on your calendar.

That’s why we call ourselves the best marketing agency in El Paso for a pest control company that wants booked jobs, not just clicks.
